1000 Whispers From Our Future is seeking funding to expand the project with a Creative Audio and Storytelling curriculum to teach inside of California Prisons. Additionally, the project will create an online digital archive of our collective visions, and travel nationally as a tool for community engagement and mobilization.

Pat Mesiti-Miller is anArtist and Audio Producer based in Oakland, CA. known for his inventive storytelling and immersive sound design, Pat blends fantasy and documentary elements to explore deeper truths. His work often pushes boundaries of form and genre, using storytelling as a tool for resistance, empathy, and collective empowerment. He has led classes and workshops in community orgs, classrooms, and prisons for more than 10 years. His audio work spans collaborations with Proximity Media, Ear Hustle, People’s Programs, and KQED’s Snap Studios.
